Nov 18th / Dec 2nd, 9th & 16th
5th Ave between City Hall & the Edmonds Historical Museum
The Douglas family has made a tradition of kicking off their holidays by visiting the Edmonds Holiday Market. “The annual Holiday Market is the place to be if you’re looking for a little holiday ambience — farmer’s market style,” said Carolyn, Edmonds mom and former KING 5 TV anchor.
With vendors like Finnriver Farm & Cidery, holiday wreaths from Teng’s Garden, and hot Mexican and Filipino food served up by Patty Pan Grill and 88 Cues, there are so many reasons to visit the Holiday Market.
Every Saturday into December
Held every Saturday through December 16 (except Thanksgiving weekend), the market is open from 10 a.m. till 3 p.m. on Fifth Avenue between City Hall and the Edmonds Historical Museum.
Forty vendors are registered for the event, bringing everything from cured meats, preserved foods and cheeses, to baked goods and sweets. Look for everything on your shopping list, from fruit, produce and cranberries, to wine, jewelry, pottery, and gifts.
Create Your Tradition
“One of my favorite vendors at the Holiday Market is Jeff Boyer with Naches Heights Vineyard,” says Carolyn. “Jeff has a cheerful spirit that makes the market fun,” adding that the vineyard’s wines make a great holiday gift.
And for that special wreath for your door or holiday greenery for a dinner party gift, look no further than Teng’s Garden whose beautiful, seasonal creations brighten up the market stalls.
Create Your Tradition and join the Douglas family this Saturday at the market. Maybe you’ll see them afterward on their search for a holiday gift downtown in one of Edmonds’ boutiques.
