Join The Cascadia Art Museum for this month’s Family Art Workshop led by teaching artist, Mona T. Smiley-Fairbanks. Create a rubber stamp and design a card, drawing inspiration from the Christmas cards of mid-century ceramists Robert Speelmon and Jeanne Franzen Speelmon.

About the Teaching Artist

Mona T. Smiley-Fairbanks is a Northwest native making monotype prints, acrylic canvases, and most anything that can pose an artistic challenge. Inspired by Puget Sound, the rushing waters and the fragrant Douglas Firs, her work reflects patterns, colors, and endangered species.
